The origin of PSUEDERANTHEMUM PALATIFERUM "HOAN NGOC" is traced back to the Rainforest of CUC PHUONG, which is in the Red River Valley of North Viet Nam, some 120 kilometers southwest of Hanoi. There on the eastern slopes of the Annamite range of the Annamese mountains, through the Millenniums and the many Kingdoms of the region, the phylogeny of the plant grew.
Known by the locals and the Buddhist monks of the area for its medicinal properties for a very long time. It wasn't known to the Western World until it was published in Vietnamese Herbal Remedies Dictionary in 1997. A very long list of what the plant's propertises hold, created an interest that continues to spread in all parts of the World today.
